Marketing Specialist

Position Summary

Irvine Park Railroad is hiring a Marketing Specialist with a fun and creative eye. This position requires working with other managers in different aspects of the business to promote Irvine Park Railroad and our other activities inside of Irvine Regional Park both on and offline.

Starting Wage: $35 – $40 per Hour
40 hours PTO per year
Cell phone reimbursement
8:00 am – 4:00 pm
Monday – Friday
Occasional Saturday or Sunday during special events
In-person

Core Job Responsibilities

Write, design, deploy, and report on emails with coupons and QR codes.
Manage Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, and YouTube including creating, editing and publishing content. Also includes responding to promptly comments and messages.
Support editing the web site using WordPress.
Design and coordinate the printing and fulfillment of our annual calendar.
Design and coordinate the printing of photo frames for specials events including our Easter Eggstravaganza and Christmas Train.
Create and edit promotional rack cards.
Design and edit signage and advertisement.
Design and edit PowerPoints as requested.
Photography and photo editing.
Additional projects as requested.

Requirements

Must have a minimum of 1-2 years experience in similar marketing role.
Must be familiar with the following computer programs: Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel. Knowledge in Canva, Shopify, Mailchimp, Coupon Tools, and WordPress are a plus.
Must know how to professionally manage social media on Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, and YouTube.
