Litter Picker

Position Summary

Irvine Park Railroad is hiring for our Litter Picker position. This position is responsible for collecting litter throughout the Pumpkin Patch event area, emptying trash cans, and ensuring an overall clean event area. This position requires physical strength to load and unload heavy materials. This position is during our Pumpkin Patch from September 14^th – October 31st with paid training prior. (Wage range: $20-$22)

Starting Wage: $20 per Hour
Eligible for “Bonus Pay”: $2 per hour
Must be available on weekends

Core Job Responsibilities

Clean and maintain picnic grounds and rental areas.
Work with a team to ensure trash pickers are working efficiently
Miscellaneous maintenance tasks as see fit

Requirements

English & Spanish speaking.
Must be able to work on your feet for long periods of time.
Must be able to lift heavy items and materials. (90lbs)
Must be able to get to and from work.
Must be available throughout the entire event on Saturdays & Sundays from 10:00am to 6:30pm.
